He’s got a bit of an X factor about him in that he can do the unexpected. He might be a bit of a maverick but there’s nothing wrong with that in my book. And he takes a cracking penalty.
I hope we keep him.
I hope we keep him.
I hope RLB agrees with me that Aouchiche should stay at the club …
… there’s a few I’d let go before him tbh.
I don’t think we have another player who can play two roles better. None of Watson, Mundle or Roberts could play inside better. None of Rigg, Neil or Jobe could play outside better. He can play behind a striker or as wing back and is probably the most forward looking player in the squad. Even as cover for injuries he’s worth a wage, could he even play full back I wonder?
He needs a run, and more coaching in his decision making, but he has qualities no one else does. He has to accept that players won’t always spot his runs, or move to where he’s decided to play the ball, but he’s young enough to mature and learn that …
… and it’s good having someone who can really fire in a shot on target as well as corners and free kicks.
Plenty of room for improvement but at worst he’s just put £1m on his fee imo.
I created this thread because I was sceptical about him in August, I feel like until a few weeks ago my scepticism was mostly validated, that said he has done well for the team being played out wide recently and deserves credit where it's due, I'm not saying I'm all in on Aouchiche staying long term as I still think he is likely benched as we get players back, but he has shown good utility for the squad. I'm open to saying I was wrong and Aouchiche has a big future with us, but he needs to keep progressing whilst Mundle and Watson are missing and make the most of this chance.
Exactly this. Hardly any of the players we've signed in the last 3 years have been anywhere near the finished article. Too many of our fans are expecting to see something which isn't there yet. What he,and others, need is proper coaching to improve them to becoming the players their potential indicates.
Since Mogga left, they haven't had any consistency in what they're being asked to do,or in the environment they're being asked to it.
Consistent, intelligent coaching, working on developing the skills they have, will, imo, allow us to see the good players that are in there. The Championship is a real opportunity for them to significantly improve.....can't do it in the PL. They have to be ready.

Well,if anyone has any criticisms to make about our club at the minute...recruitment and general player dealing is not one of them.Precisely why we've been able to afford them ...
... if Jobe was at his current standard, when he arrived, he wouldn't have arrived![]()

Differing opinions are great for surePeople are quite correct when they talk about differing opinions, that's absolutely normal.
What saddens me is how some will very loudly demand protests, scream for the owner, etc, to 'get out of our club' as if they speak for everyone ...
... then back off, if we do well, and say nowt until they spot another chance to get their megaphones out.
Some of the comments verge on actual hatred and seem to see us as gullible dopes without the brains/knowledge to see what they do.
Looking at the way Speakman showed Le Fée around I really can't believe these stories about his alienating players and staff tbh.
Featured in our last 6 games, started the last 4
I think he’s here for the season, even with injured players returning
Marra, differing opinions is what makes this forum the interesting place it is. I have to say, that in recent times,we've had the benefit of some really intelligent people on here, posting about tactics, recruitment and exhibiting a great deal of player knowledge, which I love to read.People are quite correct when they talk about differing opinions, that's absolutely normal.

I definitely think he should. Sadly I suspect RLB drops him to fit two from Mayenda, Rigg and Le Fee into the side.Interesting to see if he starts on Friday. Not sure he’ll go with the same system of Mayenda and Isidor through the middle
Agree, there was about 20 posters who had hissy fits in the final hour of the last transfer deadline thread. Quite a few disappeared, but they'll probably be back soon with their embarrassing demands. The "Tees was right" flag highlighted quite a few.Differing opinions are great for sure
I have to admit I lost a lot of trust in Speakman with the whole Beale thing, but in a way that could be the best thing to happen to us (def didn't feel like it as a time), as it seems to have refocused everyone at the club.
Mistakes will always be made when signing players, I will watch a player so much and be convinced they will be brilliant for the club but it's impossible to tell how a player will settle with us. Rusyn is an example of a player I was buzzing about after seeing his highlights, but he clearly hasn't settled and now his confidence looks done
On here I find the debates are normally really good, I just hate the ones who disappear when things are going well but quickly reappear when things take a turn. I remember a couple posters being on here slagging the club non stop on transfer deadline day, not seen them post since then tho
I’d start him wide with Mayenda and Rigg on the benchI definitely think he should. Sadly I suspect RLB drops him to fit two from Mayenda, Rigg and Le Fee into the side.
