Might be just me, but he seems to have a lot of the ball, but I see very little end product.

Yes. That's him. He is attracted to the ball and has something but we can do better. Can can be a bench player mind.

Should have had an assist today, put it on a plate for Roberts. Also forced a great save with a cracking long range shot that was going in, on another day that's a goal and assist in one match.

Have to agree there. I think it’s a poor finish from Roberts, he’s better than that

He playing out of position and doesn't really have the pace to beat the full back like Watson or Mundle might. Think he's a very decent 3rd choice option, but would likely produce more playing centrally. Kudos to him for getting his head down and forcing his way back into the squad.

I'd agree with most of that.
We signed him with a view to him playing as a 10 but given Rigg's progress that's not going to happen. Aleksic is viewed as a 10 in the longer term. We have, by necessity, shoehorned him into a left side midfield role and fair play to the lad he has given it a decent go.
However there is no room for sentiment and I think it is best for both parties that he moves on. He deserves to play first team football and may have to go back to France to get it, as I don't see him holding down a place in our first team when everyone is fit.

It was a bit of a crap finish but there was nowt wrong with the cross it was a peach. I think he's already showing he's got quality out wide and is a goal threat. I'd keep him around for sure, versatile too which will be handy when we're not as injury hit.
