Rooney had not been in the team for a while, although still training and putting in the commitment. Hessy had left him out of the side, due to on going negotiations as his contract runs out in the Summer. However, he reappeared in the Crawley game in our 2-1 win until he received his second red card of the season!

Jack Payne another young prospect had already extended his contract with the Gills.

It was rumoured that Di Canio was showing an interest in Rooney (I'll leave it at that, read in to that what you will).

Players like Jack Payne and Luke Rooney are our future, one is more level headed than the other. The trouble is some of these young lads see the £££ signs and how do you protect them from themselves or their agent and the prying eyes.

Simply put, I don't trust the whole timings of this episode, which appeared to rear its ugly head sometime after our game against Swindon at the end of October.

Hopefully we can sort this out with the lad, as for Swindon and Di Canio, I will refrain from any comment <grr>
 
i reckon bristol city could be suprise package for 2012 i reckon they started a run together like palarse did with dowie i think they could go up whats peoples thourghts?
 
Is this the start of a League One downward slide?

Lost 1-0 eh lads, oh well at least the Gills did the job properly at Orient as some of the red bus brigade will know.

yes we lost but it was the way we lost which annoyed me bwp for the 5th game running doesnt look interested in playing for us anymore cp needs to drop him next match
 
funny thing re todays game just sitting in that horrible wooden stand at the back just as harmer getting sent off i felt a tail from some animal go up my trousers and shoes i looked down and their was quite a large mouse or baby rat going over my right shoe by this time i lost it and screamed **** mouse and jumped up on the seat at the back everyone was pissing themselves laughing the woman in front with her other half kept checking under the seats for this bloddy animal it was quite funny as the whole section started to look under the seats ive never been to a game when a sodding mouse or rat appears quite disgusting me thinks imagine the food at the back grose!!!!
