Some on here (just look back on this and other threads), some on other social media.
Acun is not above criticism. Yes he’s been mostly good since he arrived but having hand picked a high profile attack-minded coach who’s never worked in the UK and left him without the tools to do the job a week before the season starts, he deserves all the criticism he gets. He’s a big boy, he can take it, but it’s obvious his head has been turned by events in Istanbul. He loves to be loved so it’s time to get back to his day job to keep the locals on board.

I like Acun, he’s been a good owner so far on the whole - but there’s better people that are less unpredictable who could do this (if Tan was doing it I’d be much more comfortable)

You’re right. Tan probably would do it better. But it sounds like this could be something he needs to say, rather than just settling nerves. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. :emoticon-0105-wink:

‘His plans for the future’ hmm sounds like a plan that maybe he’s changing course having thrown so much at us last year - maybe explains his end of season anger .

If the rumours are true that he wants to sell the club, it's odd that he would have made that decision after sacking a manager and spending a month chasing a new one. It would be a much wiser business decision to keep the one that finished 7th, bring in some of the reasonably priced targets they already had in mind to bolster the squad, and aim for a steady, comfortable season. If he steps back and puts Tan in charge, I would wonder what state the club would have been in regarding the squad and manager had that happened last season.

He was talking himself into trouble last time. Someone 100% pulled it to stop him and talk to him as when we were outside you could see Tan giving him some advice
or ... " ... you could see Tan talking with him".
How utterly strange that Tan and Acun would be talking during a break in proceedings.

And others will be happy with whatever he says and believe it justifies a slow window. And then there'll be some who try to decipher the truth.

No doubt you will be the better than everyone else one trying to decipher it. How will you manage without someone doing an analysis?

LOL. No doubt the only critical thinking that comes with the correct conclusion is yours. You shouldn’t let your modesty hold you back.<laugh>

Your critical thinking skills are so apt
That if you got told to take your thinking yo the next level
Youd bring a ladder
