Yeah I think he's saying without saying that he's annoyed we haven't made more signings. His comment about being personally involved in deals from now spoke volumes.

What I never understand is when I hear him speak he seems so knowledgeable about football and even just being able to rattle off some key examples of teams that struggled with injuries to wingers last season shows he pays attention to the league, so how can he look at our transfer business and be happy? I guess he's not, but it just doesn't sync up.

I guess he expected better so didn’t want to throw the brain team under the bus as clearly he felt he could rely on them to do better

I think he means excluding the relegated clubs (so I guess Sheff U, Leeds, Luton, Burnley, maybe Norwich and WBA too?) as I'd be surprised if we had more sponsorship revenue than Leeds.

It was a very good answer though.
