The deflections and excuses made for him are bizarre and contradictory. The ones you see the most are ‘he’s made mistakes but means well’ or ‘he loves the club and wants to do his best’. He’s a grown man, a businessman at that, not a child learning how to do algebra.

His defenders also make out he’s some genius. Really bizarre. Never known so many adults simultaneously infantilise another adult’s poor decision-making whilst making out he’s a great owner and savvy businessman. Oh wait, there is a parallel across the pond…

He’s best mates with the authoritarian dictator, so yes Acun does have a large degree of responsibility for turkeys social and cultural shortcomings.

On the point of late payment of wages, Acun was not complaining that the question was asked, but the fact it was asked just before the team was due to play an important game. So, agree I thought Mike White's approach was rather confrontational rather than investigative.

Well it was due and happened before an important game, then Acun should be more watchful to not to empty coffins before the most important game of the year. Still his responsibility, not White's.
