Delete it because you disagree with it? I disagree with it too, but effectively calling for censorship is ridiculous.
I’ve changed my mind about Acun being the Turkish Simon Cowell. I believe he really is, the Turkish Del Boy. He’s already got a 3 wheeler, alright, it’s a plane, but still 3 sets of wheels. I can see him at the MKM trying to flog Turkish stuff, “look, you don’t need these English players, you can have this Turkish one, which is better,” one broken player later, “Tan, get that next player from Turkey in. OK, ladies & gentlemen, this player from Turkey was worth £4 million, but I’ll flog him to you for £5 & all you have to do is pay his wages, I’ll even throw in this one from Fulham, just pay his wages, he’s great.” “Alright Tanner’s, let’s get down the pub quick, before they realise they’ve been had.” At the pub, “Alright Dave, a round for everyone & put it on my tab, have one yourself mate.”
His heart is in the right place (for now until he wants to recoup what he's lost) but he and that Tan fella are ****ing clueless
'This time next year Rodney we'll all be millionaires'..........when we trouser £16m plus for Keano Lewis Potter lovely jubbly. Asda price.
His dabble with that dutch club should have been a warning really. Doubt he's in it for the long haul if (when) we go down
It’s hard for fans not to worry when the team is playing ****, there’s no proper head coach/manager and rumours going around about Acun meddling too much and creating a culture of cronyism. I like Acun and want us to succeed under him but Mel Morris had big plans and dreams for Derby and spent millions on transfers to try and get them up too.
@Howdentiger2 was hoping you of all people didn’t like my post as whenever you like a post ranting about the state of the club, it makes me think you know something bad. I was hoping you’d reply and tell me I’m overreacting and talking bollocks
Haha sorry! I'm honestly at a loss at which way I think it's all going to go ATM. Acun is the key to both the success and failure of our club and what / how he chooses to do things moving forward will determine if it's a success or failure. If he carries on the way he is then we will crash and burn and derby scenario could well happen ( very worse case I admit ) but if he steps back and just becomes an open and engaging owner who communicates with the fans, involves the fans, plays the media game and then leaves the footballing side of things to football people then we can be a massive success. It really is all in his hands as to how this turns out. He doesn't need to be surrounded by "yes" men.
That’s the issue I’ve heard with it all. As much as it was a bit of fun, his 5 a side match against Barmby, he had a small army of people raving and screaming over every time he touched the ball. And I can imagine thats carried over to the football side too
Acun is good at getting the easy wins but has often failed at the important stuff. Like building a car, he can do the easy bit of making the posters and commercials but under the hood it’s a pile of ****.
That’s all backwards, making the posters and commercials is the hard bit. Ask anyone in business, coming up with the product is the easy part, selling it is the hard part. Unless you’re a plumber.
This is still very much the case you wrote back then, let football people deal with the football side, and Acun do what he does best, the PR with fans and getting sponsorship etc.
Since there is no manager to complain, I nominate this thread as official complaint thread for Boro game.
