It's not complaining Cyc. Merely saying that there are ways available to communicate and it might be a good idea to use them. I just prefer to keep people informed and manage expectations.

Still bugger all about this from the super mods but at least now some of the other mods are pushing for answers. All I can do is to keep asking the question of the supermods......... Sorry

I'm happy to hand over the log in details for the Twitter account if anyone wants to take it over. I just don't have time these days I'm afraid.
 
I don't know how this tweeting works Princess. Can I just try tweeting you at the Horse Racing Forum to see what happens. I tweeted twitter.com/OfficialNot606 but I can't see any evidence of it.

Maybe it doesn't work like that (having had a quick look at the Help). It seems that if you tweet something, all people that are "Following" you, will receive that tweet. So if Not 606 Official tweeted an announcement (for example) anyone who was a "Follower" of https://twitter.com/OfficialNot606 would receive that tweet. Is that correct?

I think for me to tweet you personally I would have to either call up your account and tweet you or tweet (personal) from my personal account. I am going to try both and would be grateful if you could let me know what happens.

Actually it might be useful to use this facility if the site goes down during competitions

That's basically it Ron. You need to be "following" a Twitter account in order to get updates on the Tweets posted. Anyone can read the Tweets if your profile is Public but you need to make the effort to look them up.

I'll go and check the account now.
 
The account is still there, despite no activity since September 2013! I can't see any direct tweets from anyone at the moment. You need to write a Tweet with @Not606Racing in it so that I can see it.
 
Ah. I tried a personal tweet from my account but it wouldn't let me as you aren't following me. There's a surprise <laugh>

I went to the not606 racing (see below) and clicked on the Tweet to Not 606 Racing and just entered a message. Came up on my personal account. Did you not see it on your not606 racing page?
