Did anyone else get this message when trying to access not606 this morning?

One of the Super-Mods was trying to modify some of the site code to prevent unwanted redirects via tagging (or something like that). Seems said person temporarily broke more than he fixed, should all be working OK now.

We don't have much downtime on this site but, given the problem yesterday and earlier today I was getting a different error message (did anyone else have a problem gaining access today?), I wondered if it might be useful to make use of Twitter and/or Facebook for announcements/updates during not606 downtime. Not 606 does have Twitter and Facebook accounts already but they are not used. Obviously it would require the site owner (or Supermods) to provide the updates. Just a thought.

I was getting as far as CloudFlare in Manchester.

If this were a government website, I would know that we were only a couple of billion pounds away from getting it working...

Clearly that hamster running on the wheel to power the web server has lied about its nationality. WADA need to test it to see if it is Russian or Kenyan because the drugs are not making it go faster.

It was down again this morning.

Oddy, is this anything to do with registering with Cloud? If so, could be teething problems

Is there no way we can get some communication going?

I don't use facebook, wouldn't know where to begin. Happy for others to do so though <ok>
I know FB isn't very popular Oddy. Don't like it much myself; a good facility misused to my mind.

We also have our own Horse Racing Twitter Account. Princess Newmarket used to keep it up to date before starting a family. And there is the Official no606 Twitter Account. I believe more and more people these days are happy to look at twitter for football updates (where most rumours are picked up). So that is probably

Could you post the following on the mods' board please Oddy?

Suggestion.
As we have an Official not606 Twitter Account it might be useful, in the event of down time, to post updates via that account. What do others think?
