    It's as if Liverpool's trying to prove they could buy the unbuyable commodity. The more we've told off all comers for months that we wouldn't sell, the more everyone's wanted him. He's priceless to us, but shouldn't be worth that much to them.

    Oh, and good luck receiving service from their **** midfield and back line. I hear once and a while after he's forgotten he's a RB Johnson puts in a cross.

    Chelsea take Liverpools best player, Liverpool then take ours...

    If we had any other owner I'd be buzzing at getting £35m for Carroll but this will all go in Ashley's Aspers account.

    He wouldn't have a say in the matter, he may come and say that once he signed for Liverpool, remember Keegan being made to look the fall guy when Milner was sold, and looking very uncomfortable about it, at the press conference.
