Well he can jog on now, we don't want anyone at NUFC who doesn't want to play for us. £35-£40m (depending on future of Carroll) is great money. Just gutted! Ameobi for number 9!!

Why would he even need to hand in a formal transfer request considering there've been offers coming in all day? They were saying hours ago he was gone on 35 million, and look how that turned out. I'm still taking this with a grain of salt.

Edit: and then I read the Liverpool press, for ****'s sake...
 
Carlton Cole is the rumoured replacement. Get N'Gog in as part of the deal from Liverpool and we should be okay til the summer.

Gutted but waiting for the deal to go through. There's still a chance he could fail a medical...
