2-0 down before he thinks about trying to win a game. Wish Coates would get shut of Pulis I've had enough of his crap football and ****e tactics!
Wish I had your faith Smithers.
I have just had enough of Pulis.
2 shots on goal!
WE have conceeded 10 in our last 3 prem games - so much for the best defence! This is the concern, its difficult (or I can see why people defend TP) to criticise when we dont create lots of chances if we keep clean sheets, but when we start leaking goals because were are so inaffective the argument is flawed.
I see Walters got his usual 90 minutes - AGAIN!
It is difficult to defend our tactics after a performance like this one.
So I won't try. In fact I wouldn't defend Pulis even if we had won. And while we are on the subject , I won't defend Coates either.
Coates saddled us with Pulis not once but twice.
Oh I can hear some of you shouting , " he got us into the prem ". We did not get into the prem. because of Pulis , we got into the prem DESPITE Pulis.
Try and cast your minds back to the final weeks of the promotion season , culminating with that draw bore with Leicester.
By a miracle , that's the only word I can use to describe the stuation , we had managed to get a few points more than the chasing pack.
But over the last few games , apart from one important win against a near rival , it seemed as if we were doing our best to miss promotion.
But the crazy thing was , the chasing pack were tripping up themselves. It was as if they were saying " no we are not ready to go up , let Stoke go up , they'l come straight back dine again " If your memory is true , you will admit we were not ready to go up.
But up we have stayed. And I have no logical explanation for it. It is certainly not due to the expertise of the " manager " , if you can call him that.
Many things have no logical explanation , but they are there. Now I might be wrong , but do not contradict me if I am.
Some of you , I know , detest Pulis and at the same time praise Coates as " Saviour ". But think back to when we were being run by the Icelanders. Coates was still on the board of directors , quietly biding his time , waiting for the Norsemen to fail so that he could take full control at a bargain price. While the Icelanders and Stoke City were struggling , Coates did not lift a finger to help. That's how much of a " died - in - the - wool " supporter he is. For god's sake the man is a bookie , and everything he does is for a profit for himself. Don't tell me how much he has spent on Stoke City , he is still well in pocket.
I warn you now , even from a mid-table position , if we continue with our present tactics , we are in real danger of going down.
And like I said before , if I am wrong , don't contradict me. I feel better now.
