So here was a guy with a story to tell. Apart from his power chord inventions, he was a Korean (I think) war veteran with one lung.
One if the original Lazy Pine Wranglers I reckon he was a huge inspiration for the likes of Pete Townsend et al.

Watched the film the wind that shakes the barley years back and this song stuck in my head…….no Irish blood in me but I recognise the struggle they had against the British army especially the Black and Tan scummy fkrs
anyways from tragedy something beautiful happened and this couples story is part of history now
