Aye. To be fair mate I rarely buy off Amazon I find the search on the site to be absolute dog ****. I do buy from other major retailers regularly though. I’d love the incentive to spend local, it just isn’t often there. I buy a lot of house stuff from smaller independents, but my main monthly spending goes on clothing and you are talking anything up to 40% cheaper on sites like ASOS, for top brands. Small cafes etc, absolutely, but prime example of greed is the shop along from me, when Covid first kicked off I went in for sugar and he tried charge me £2.80. £2.80 is nothing to me, but someone taking the piss is. I’ve not stepped foot in that shop since, I’d wager I spent £40-60 a week in there before that incident.
I know they're different organisations all together man give me some credit ffs I never said they were the same I said they both have independent business selling through them which they do.
I've just ordered a Christmas present for our grandson in New Zealand. We ordered through amazon.com (usa) - same item was almost twice the price on the uk site and the shipping rate was much cheaper- I really like Amazon!
