Now that's over <hug> 2020 you did say that I had not put my opinion on the subject. If I knew how to link it I would, but couldn't get the link to work. If you want the site is on facebook, Democratic Socialists US gun control parts 1, 2 and 3.

    Found links below.

Never explain your opinions... When you learn this lesson it will be time for you to leave.

This has completely converted me. I withdraw all my previous comments and now see the good sense in everyone being armed to the teeth at all times.

So you didn't watch them then. All three use humour and sarcasm to show how idiotic the pro gun lobby are <doh> and how Australia reformed their gun laws after a mass shooting and have not had one since.

Hmmm, no I took them to be serious expositions of the case for gun ownership. I think you've misunderstood them.

Not at all, it was a series on Australian TV to mock the US gun laws and why they won't change them. There was also an ozzie stand up comedian ripping them apart and it is only half way through you realise it is filmed in Boston, and he gets away with it.

Oh come on, it starts with The Daily Show, that's a well known serious US news programme. And using Australia for heavens sake, they are not representative of anything.

It is a comedy, that's why I said humour and sarcasm, buts it shows the thinking of the US gun lobby.

I know it's comedy. Anything starting with Jon Stewart and the Daily Show is not going to be seriously supporting the gun lobby. I realised in the first 10 seconds of the first one.

It does look entertaining though, I'll watch the rest when I have time. I loved the fruitcake he was interviewing dismissing the Australian experience as something that happened in 'country X' on another planet. ( mind you he may have a point there :) ).
