If we drop and someone with an empathy for the club comes along to help out there is no one I can imagine who would have the money and time to take us back to the Premier League.
They might start but as soon as it became too expensive or an offer was made to sell they would go for it.
And, we are talking of any take over being financed by groups of people behind the scenes - there are ver few Newcastles or Chelseas around.
The only interest shown when Jenkins et al looked to sell were a very dodgy American pair and an even dodgier schyster from China.
Out of interest, do you object to the people working on the refreshment counter or turnstile being paid?
In my world the financial values may be vastly different but both they and the investors are doing the same thing .. taking money out of the club.
(But, as I've noted before, as yet I haven't seen any evidence that the shareholders have taken a penny.)
