    No turmoil, no doubt.<ok>

Our squad was good enough for 11th last season, while yours was barely able to stay in the league. You needed to invest heavily just to get to our level. Your signings so far lead me to believe you ain't even close yet.<ok>

Last summer's close season is something we shouldn't wish on any team, Wubba.

    We shall see carra

I think a lot if your success was down to lambert getting a decent squad to overachieve

I like houghton but it's very early to say whether he can achieve the same level of team spirit whilst at the same time your top scorer and talisman wants out

Will laudrup get the same out of Swansea as Rodgers did? I can't see lightning striking twice in the valleys or on the mean streets of norwich

If Holt goes, we'll get top dollar for him, and will re-invest all the money back into the squad. You can be sure we won't be investing in thirty-something players that will spend more time on the treatment table than on the pitch. Youngest squad in the league that now has one years Premier League experience. Its all looking good over here.<ok>

Nice to see Sparky's sticking to the Colin principle of signing players nearing the 'twilight' of their careers, as opposed to what PL did last year in signing 'young, hungry players'. We'll have to wait to see what Hughton's priciples are, but I'm pretty sure he won't be signing players who are 'past their sell-by date!!!' <ok>

PS - Looking forward to your visit on 25th Aug.

Not being funny but weren't QPR the big boys of the newly promoted teams last year, yet were comfortably below the other two, as for Norwich getting relegated no chance with Hughton there and will be higher than QPR and Swansea next year.

Oi,.don't bring me into it dreamer... You only just managed to buy safety last season, where as we played our way to safety. Mind you, paying £70,000 a week to a player banned for 12 games is real good business sense, especially to a cnut like Barton..Mug.

if diakite is half as good as howson then qpr will have themselves an excellent player. all the same, he's not world class - that's a farcical call by the fan in question <ok>

Well seeing as he plays International Football for his country you could say he's World Class (of sorts) thats one better than the much lauded Howson I believe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samba_Diakité

Yeah but your new keeper (Rob Green) is also an international but he certainly is not world class (not by any stretch of the imagination) <ok>

I am sure Howson will get his chance at some stage, either while with us or after he has moved on to another club.

utter tripe. just cos he's an international doesn't make him 'world class'! if that were the case then emile heskey would be labelled a better player than glenn hoddle for example (he got more caps!). does that mean the san marino squad are better than jonny howson? seriously, anyone who thinks diakite is even close to world class needs to go and see a shrink urgently. good player, but there are many good players. there's only a small handful of world class footballers on the planet. indeed, diakite couldn't even become a regular in the nancy team and he is hardly a regular for his nation yet either, so they obviously don't rate him quite as highly as you do.

On that basis, Ruddy, R Martin, Crofts, Morison and Jackson are all 'world class.' <doh> Moron!

OK so he plays for Mali who came third at this years African Cup of Nations which I think is quite impressive unless of course you're alluding that African football is in some way inferior or doesn't count????

Who a player plays for is not the be all and end all but whatever team he was from he would not be world class, he is international class maybe but not world class. Do you think he is?

Actually I think he has the potential to be World Class. 'Potential' being the optimum word here.

The point I'm failing to get across to you lot is that if you'd signed a very class DM player, an international who took his countries team to the semi finals of this years ACoN when a couple of years ago we were signing the likes of Leon Clarke then you may too be excited.

I'll concede the Rob 'butterfingers' Green point raised above though!!

As with most things only time will tell. Personally I think Faurlin is far better but as an Argentinian it'll be very hard to break into their International side.

Think last time we were in the prem Vs Pompey they had a pen that was taken 3 times and he didn't save any of them! He did save a couple for West Ham, but the rest of his game went to s***
