Exactly this , I think we have to let her back unfortunately because she only had British Citizenship, we cannot refuse her entry as it’s illegal under international law. So make her face prosecution.

    How so?

If she's a British citizen I don't see what we can do.

Have done mate. We're not allowed to permanently prevent her return if she hasn't become a national of another country it seems.

Seems the state are pretty screwed on this one to be fair, not their fault.

Does the fact that she married a Dutch convert mean the unborn child will hold a UK, Dutch or Syrian citizenship, what a mix up.

Why do you think a lot of unregistered guests in the U.K somehow manage to lose their passports when the fuzz come calling? Passports, or lack thereof, give you a lot of rights that could be misused by those of a less honest nature and that will probably be the case with this young lady. You need a passport from another country to be deported from most countries and the British passport entitles you entry to those shores.

I'm with you on this one Rob because as usual the U.K. will be screwed on this one whatever happens and lots of money will be wasted down the drain. Remember the smug faces of Abu Hamza and Choudary prior to their deportation and remember how much it cost you to wipe the smile off their faces. Shameful that this is allowed to happen.

Other than the legal issues will Brexit give you more freedom to say bollocks to European Human Rights Court?

Agreed mate. Although, and I'm genuinely not just being pro-remain here, it's not a European issue, it's the UN. Europe has nothing to do with this (I think).

Did you actually read that though RoD? It says we can only render them stateless if we believe she can get a passport in another country. Maybe that's the case I don't know. But if not, we can't do it.

Don’t think Syria would worry about her being a citizen there or let her take her husbands.
At the end of the day it’s the NHS she wants, for her unborn child. Tir it up in a legal issue taking years then she won’t want to come back.

That's absolutely not how it works but never mind.

If it was as simple as that I'd say get rid but it really isn't. Invermeremike basically nailed it with Choudry, etc.

Thanks for the praise Rob and it makes my blood boil when I see the likes of those 2 and this recent case because they are taking the country for the soft touch that it has become. I can remember seeing an article on BBC where Hamza was being driven away in a taxi from yet another court date and the smug grin on his face told me exactly what he was. I literally punched the air when he was deported to the Excited States where they know how to deal with the likes of him,but regrettably he didn't get the ultimate penalty. Good riddance to the lot of them and hopefully more will follow.

Choudary was not deported. He was imprisoned in the UK for recruiting for Isis. Received a pathetic sentence. And is already out.

My mistake too and I'm mad to know they let him out again. I remember watching a programme where he was interviewed about his preaching, and other things, and throughout he denied that was doing anything immoral and grinned through the whole affair. He is exactly the type of hatred spreader that you will never need to be in your country. The term treason immediately comes to mind and they used to have a very appropriate penalty for that crime.
