It's amazing what scorelines will do to perception. The 4-0 performance was below average for us that season but it wasn't that terrible. The only stat Huddersfield out did us on was goals. I know it's the only one that counts, but we actually had more shots on target, more possession, and I think more freekicks (their OWS doesn't seem to want to load the match report for me today). I only remember it so well because I came out of the game and went and spent the day with a Huddersfield supporting friend who wouldn't have it that they weren't that much better than us and had just taken almost every chances they were given on the day, and that "if that's your best performance of the season you'll be midtable at best". When the report was put on their site confirming it they weren't amused, they were even less amused when they finished midtable and their manager had said in the 2nd half of the season that their home game against us was their best performance.
