Yesterday Orta said he was sure Kiko would be staying at Leeds, yet with the BPF issue from last night and jungle drums are going barmy about Karl Darlow from Newcastle again.

Last night no BPF, no Huffer, a trialist in goal and Josh Rae on the bench a player we released a few weeks ago. Something not adding up but we know Burnley were chasing BPF and we know he upset Bielsa saying he demands to be starting.also why so many reports linking Darlow with us again. He was mentioned in the first post on this thread back in May

Can we afford to have both Darlow & Casillas on the payroll? I don't think so - not in a millions years. Too expensive, and both too good to be a #2 in a 2nd tier club.

I can only think this is absolute nonsense, or Casillas is definitely going.

Newspapers still bigging up Darlow to Leeds with 2 saying contact is all about IF KIKO LEAVES, so is this a decision Kiko has to make plus its late in the window?

Still stories of a Pontus replacement which are for the Villa player, the Irish kid from Inter Milan and now a French kid

According to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, speaking in English on a live video-radio broadcast on the TuutoMercatoWeb Twitter page, Leeds United have bid €15m for Italian striker Andrea Petagna of Serie A side SPAL.

Some Leeds United fans have been crying out for a new striker to join the Whites, and it appears that Tancredi’s report could be granting these fans exactly that. Speaking in English, after this teaser tweet (below), Tancredi gave the details of what had occurred.

He mentioned that Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani and the Whites had been looking for a striker with a high work rate, rather than one with a high goal return. After mentioning this, he then went on to state the news that Leeds United had entered a bid of €15m/£13.6m for Petagna with his current side SPAL.

Emboldened by me, btw. Shows you what we look for with Bielsaball. Probably explains why so many guessers, sorry experts, get it wrong when they mention strikers of interest.

Numbers 24 and 25 are just about out of the club today. LDB will go on loan to a Greek side but they will buy him at the end of the season. It also looks like Tom Pearce is being sold to Barnsley for an undisclosed fee

Kent plays No10 or striker as well as winger as does Clarke or Harrison and seems to be the way Bielsa wants his team to work? At least £10m for Kent though so if you believe yesterdays Petagne bid was rejected?

I don't believe we made any bid for Petagne, neither do I think we will spend £10m on Kent. Personally I'd rather see the money spent on a CB as it seems we have only three specialists at the club and a load of 'could do a job for bit if needed'. An oddly unbalanced squad for me.
 
Gayle is a journo story so I have no idea if its real or not. I hope it is but worry about his wages, ut my guess is its all bollox. Gayle will not be a Leeds player

Inter Milan have 2 players it seems we are chasing because both players have been mentioned by Bielsa. I spoke of one of them the day before yesterday and it seemed a decent shout and I spoke of the other last week and the week before I mentioned that Radz right hand man outside football was seen at Inter Milan. So I am going to bet we are really interested in 2 19yo players. A striker who scores for fun in U23 comps and an Irish CB Ryan Nolan. The striker Facunda Colidio is special and Argentinian known to Bielsa

Colidio and Nolan does seem to be on the agenda as Newcastle are also wanting Colidio and offering him prem football but the Argentine is a fan of Bielsa and maybe prefers Leeds. Radz was seen in Milan Friday? Could be all paper talk?

Lorenzo Tonetti the right hand man of Radz has also been to Inter's HQ at least 3 times since June 13th
