I only just saw this Sunday afternoon so please accept my apolgies for the lateness of this post. At ii:45 tomorrow morning, I should be just about arriving back in Toronto from a weekend away but I will do my level best to stop what I'm doing and spare some time to think about Dave
Each year at Remembrace Day my choir gives a performance about the first and seconnd world wars and we sing amongst other pieces a setting for "In Remembrance" that Staines printed in an earlier post/another thread. I lost a mate to a heart attck on Nov 11/04 in the office and I have always tried to honour him when we get to that piece. from now on, I also will be thinking about Dave although as with many here, I never met him.
Thank you, Staines
RIP, Dave
Gerry
