If this were the case then Norwich wouldn't have won yesterday. Football isn't as simple as that or we'd all be millionaires by now?

The fact remains that this season, we have 8 points having played Arsenal, Man City, Swansea & W Ham away earning 3 points with 3 draws and a loss and Liverpool, Wigan & yourselves at home earning 5 points, winning 1 and drawing 2.

Newcastle have 10 points having played Chelsea, Everton, Reading and Sunderland away, drawing 3 and losing 1 and Spurs, Norwich, Man Utd and Villa at home with 2 wins, 1 draw and a loss.

If we win our game in hand, we'd be above your lot, despite the fact we have not played well really in any games so far this season.

Both clubs have had injury/suspension problems with us losing Brown, Johnson, Bardsley, and Cattermole in our 7 games and your lot have lost Coloccini, Taylor and Tiote.

We have a GFD of -2; your lot -3.

We are into the last 16 of the League cup; your lot are not. (you are in the UEFA League for which we did not qualify)

There isnt a *** paper between the 2 clubs but to read some of the bollocks being written on this site and others tonight you would think Newcastle were akin to Barcelona and we were Shotton Colliery Welfare.

Neither club have got going yet and neither club are playing well and there is still 31 games to play yet.

There is a lot of season to go yet and a lot of points to play for. Bragging rights are still on hold for now for either set of fans.

Bragging rights remain ours after our last season. You could have changed that today but didn't. Similar to you still calling Sunderland the NE top team until about half way through last season despite us being 15 points ahead <ok>

I think you need to remember you lost to both Chelsea and Man Utd (twice) what's so special about doing that?

You drew with Reading, Villa and Everton....1 'good point' there; you beat Norwich at home (whoo, hoo) and Spurs. so a credible win and draw, the rest expected against pretty poor opposition. So WTF is your point, pal?

Now Pardew says Collacini could play for Barca!, the stastics say we have had the least shots on goal by any top league team in europe !, that says it all, and who other than fletcher is going to get us goals. Roll on January.
