Got a quick fire two for this eve

I've done shocking today at newm.. glad i kept to small stakes. (apart from comp where im down and out ;'( )

"However, she has been riding racehorses in private since the age of 13years old, having ridden her dad's racehorse at David Morris' yard, and it was Hannah's dad, who first introduced her to racing, and at the tender of age of 6 Hannah started learning to ride and she hasn't looked back since.

Hannah enrolled on the Flexible Learning Programme (FLP) through her High School, King Edward Upper in Bury St Edmunds, and began coming to The British Racing School for one day a week as soon as she started in year 10. If you ask Hannah about her time at The BRS she says "I really enjoyed the course, learned a lot and it was great way to get my career underway before I had even left school" and this enthusiasm was admired by her instructor Jaki Houston Campbell, who reflects "She was a really hard worker and showed progression on a weekly basis. Hannah was always very focused about what she wanted to do". During these 2 years Hannah was also riding out on a Saturday for John Berry and that is where she is now. Having completed her GCSE's in May 2010, Hannah now works fulltime for John Berry and wasting no time, she was on the Apprentice licence Course, here at The BRS, in August. Once again she managed to impress, not only with her score of 65% in the fitness assessment, (the highest fitness score for a girl on a licence course) but also in her riding; Richard Perham, Resident Jockey Coach added "Hannah showed a really good attitude and determination throughout the course. She proved to be fit, rode nicely and if she continues to build on what she showed during the training, there is no reason why she shouldn't have success in the future". When asked about the impressive fitness score Hannah said "I did prepare but only the usual jogging and sit ups etc which everybody should be doing if they want to make it".

Just 3 months after gaining her Apprentice Licence and putting everything she learned on the course in to practice Hannah is now being rewarded with her first ride. She will ride Kadouchski for John Berry at Kempton on Wednesday 1 December and hopefully this will be the start of rewarding career for Hannah. Watch this space!"

Nass: Take a look at the first race at York on Saturday mate, there is a sleeper within who i hope will win rather well :emoticon-0103-cool:
 
Gaz, think I have backed nearly every horse in that race at least once in their careers. I guess you mean Group Therapy, I would love Border to win and he is good enough to do so, whilst Amour Propre is very interesting.
 
Deary me, that will teach me for listening to hype rather than reading the form. Ridiculous effort.
 
Nass: I am also a Borderlesscot fan BUT that injury he sustained last season appears to have taken the edge off him and also at 9 quite possibly been the best of the old boy.

Yes, you are correct, it may have taken time for Mr Barron and Group Therapy to 'bond' but now that he is not racing against Group 1 horses i feel very strongly that he can deliver here especially as my main worry was Captain Dunne who has dropped out :emoticon-0100-smile

If he breaks semi evenly i see him winning, if he breaks and gets an even gallop he wins well. If he misses the kick (or did Frank pull him?) then of course he will have it all to do.

Forecast 7s but i cannot see the bookies offering that unless they merely look at the row of duck eggs and not the grade of race and/or small distances beaten!

Could well be my biggest bet since the Festival :emoticon-0103-cool:
 
RV, in the next race explain to me why the top one is double figures when it was found to be lame in front after its last run? The maiden run for me is the best form on offer
 
Nass I am backing it also. Thought at one point he had them all beat from the front but weakened rapidly. If it was lame after the run it is defs worth another chance.
 
It has gone wrong again Nass- suppose that is why the price was so big - shouldn't even be running if that is going to happen all the time , hope the horse is ok
 
Jamesway is last bet of the day, I wonder if the other MPR will force the pace and set it up. I wonder!!

"Spoke to Dave (O'mera)says he doesnt want to give up on horse,he obviousley disapointed how she has runand understands we dont want to wasting our mone, he is looking for a 6.7 f on turf in next few weeks"

Yep, think she needs 7F on good, good soft ideally.... at least if she doesnt go again we're going to get one of the lowest handicap marks in history! Maybe a little Best trick o'mera has been playing!!!!
 
Danbo hopefully they will just draw a line through that last run (to me it didn't go on the ground) and try and get her into another claimer.
