80 is the absolute top end Liverpool could get and Barca have apparently opened at 57m approx. It'll be somewhere between. 65-70m isn't a bad shout.
There's some face saving spin around this imo.
Yesterday it's rumoured that Barca have bid £56m, this is then reported today by the British press as £70m - which is roughly what £56m is in euros..............the info coming from a 'source close to Liverpool'
The fee will be undisclosed - nailed on.
LFC will leak that they got circa £75m the reality will be euros.....

Had a discussion with DR regarding that not long ago. Virtually said that people stealing their mates Liverpool shirts, or people buying Liverpool shirts just to burn them and stitch Liverpool fans up, was just as likely than them burning their own shirt.
Obviously. They've never burnt Torres, Gerrard or Suarez shirts, nor American flags or anything of the sort, preposterous to suggest it.
It makes me laugh that the talks had to be held in London over Suarez's move. Barcelona representatives obviously didn't fancy a trip to Liverpool
