My feeling is that they will eventually agree on a fee between 65-70m Or maybe 55m-60m and a player. Would be surprised if it goes to 80!
80 is the absolute top end Liverpool could get and Barca have apparently opened at 57m approx. It'll be somewhere between. 65-70m isn't a bad shout.
There's some face saving spin around this imo. Yesterday it's rumoured that Barca have bid £56m, this is then reported today by the British press as £70m - which is roughly what £56m is in euros..............the info coming from a 'source close to Liverpool' The fee will be undisclosed - nailed on. LFC will leak that they got circa £75m the reality will be euros.....
