For those who like Eggball.

France squeezed out a win today, along with a slightly painful and mildly unconvincing win for England against Scotland.

I'm really wierded out by Wales being the slight favourites this year. That probably hasn't happened since the 70's. I'm not used to it and don't like it, though that may change if we win this afternoon or even if we lose but play good, exciting rugby. Coyr!

I think you will win it, you've got a decent team whereas all the others seem to be bog average this year.

And that's why I'm not interested in the 6 Nations. Although no great rugby fan I enjoyed the World Cup, but this feels like a kick about amongst a group of losers.

I'm also not passionately English, so hope that the winner is simply the best team. Quaint, isn't it?

Always enjoy the 6 Nations - despite the usual rhetoric from the others about "just beating England". Used to work with a Welsh guy who considered it a great season if they best England, never mind the other results! Could never understand that.
Having grown up (and been lucky to have seen) the great Welsh teams of the early 70s, I have a soft spot for the Welsh and I'll support them as long as they're not playing England.
However after yesterday's performance I'm not sure about this "England revival" - still not able to put a game away like the southern hemisphere teams and until we can do that we won't win the RWC again.
Still I'll be enjoying the games and cheering a real mans game where you don't get actors like Payet!!

I was asked by a Welshman if we hated the Welsh. I told him that of course we don't...never give you a thought, mate. I gave a rude answer because he was being rude, but there was a touch of truth. I lived in Wales for 4 years and they were obsessed with the English, but I never heard anyone give an opinion about the Welsh in my previous 18 years in England. I have to admit I came back from Wales with my hackles raised....whereas I had no such thoughts before. Of course, there has always been rivalry in rugby because the home nations play each other all the time....the Welsh always won during my time in Cardiff.:steam: They are very good victors.[HASHTAG]#sarcasmmode[/HASHTAG]

It was the opposite for me, Wales hardly ever won when I lived in London and I had a rugby-obsessed boss who loved every second of it. I think the Welsh attitude is very much a David v Goliath thing, not helped in recent years by the smug, arrogant attitude of John Inverdale on the BBC - talk about wanting to smash someone's face in!

Both games yesterday were dull and lacking in any quality, two best teams on today so hopefully a good game

Never understood the animosity towards the "arrogant English" from the welsh, Scottish, Irish, Aussies, Saffers, New Zealanders ......
As a long time supporter,I'm more used to England's failures!

Both teams deserve 5 points for playing entertaining rugby and I thought that the ref was very good too :D

Come and live in Chester. There is a law which forbids the Welsh entry after sunset. Any Cestrian is permitted to shoot offenders with a crossbow. Chester/Wrexham hatred is based on mutual English/Welsh antipathy. Away fans looking for bother at Chester will sing "You're Welsh, and you know you are" and boy does it work.

I was at the game yesterday. When England scored the second try the guy behind me poured his pint on my seat, the told me to **** off. Such a shame there are these people about.

After the World Cup, this is distinctly a second rate tournament with second rate teams. Have England or France learned anything from Australia and New Zealand? Obvioiusly precious little

Clearly not a true rugby supporter then. Sadly, the game is now attracting these kind of brainless idiots .................
