Gruesome. I hope he makes a recovery like the bloke at Everton, back playing in six months or so. As long as it’s a clean break.

Aye my arm was ****ed. About 2 minutes after my accident my mate said what injuries do you think you have got? I said my arm is broken! He replied ‘Are you sure?’ ‘Yes, it’s not supposed to bend in half in the middle of the forearm!’ Was my response <laugh>

I hope Elliott makes a really speedy recovery. A positive is that he does have age on his side.

Do you think it was a red though? Commentators claimed the ref was always going to give a red card, but he never even flagged a foul until the Liverpool staff ran on the pitch.

Good tackle. Just really bad luck for the young kid on the receiving end. Never a foul, let alone a red.

could do with a slow mo replay to be fair, hard to tell at that speed, it looks a good tackle with one leg but looks like his other leg rams through the back of his leg, might not be the case.
did VAR review it?

Jumping in the way he did his trailing leg was always going to cause a problem, which it inevitably did. Had he slid in with his right leg making the tackle and his left leg trailing, the injury probably doesn’t happen.
