Ahhh happy days. My father and Uncle used to work those turnstiles in the 60s!

I wonder why we kept the same groundsmen though, the pitch looks shockingly similar to the KC!

Stan Coombes was the best groundsman we ever had. Used to prepare it with tweezers!

What made me laff on that video was how much the fans were handing over to get through the turnstiles....."£5 please, Sir!!"

Who here went to the Penrith cup game the season after? That was the game in which Les Mutrie decked Colin Appleton!! That was Mutrie's last game for us, needless to say!

Here he is being interviewed by the great, late Derek Dougan!

Was at that match and remember the TV cameras being around the place.

Fair brought a tear to me eye.

Marwood & Maclaren - wonder what ever happened to them?

Quite agree Strovolos, in fact it was rumored that Spurs were willing to pay a transfer fee for Stan, unheard of then, and still think it is, to lure him to White Hart Lane. He lived in the house that was on the front of the Boothferry Park car park, which at the time I believed was a company house.

Indeed, in fact that used to be the Manager's house.

my wedding day! several members of the wedding party disappeared mid-afternoon, watched the match and came back again.

33 years previously (to the day) City played Man U with 55000+ in Boothferry. It was my parents wedding day and my father, uncle and grandfather were in that 55000!

Birds and Booze, actually!!

ha ha !

I only put that so people would argue with it !

I clearly remember hearing Dennis Booth on a radio show say what it stood for. Of course he couldn't say 'brothals' - so he skirted round what it meant. The other one was definately burgers !!!!
