posted in hdm: " Waggy10 Well done to Grant and the boys for what was another brilliant performance and a well deserved three points. This team has a real togetherness, a work ethic and most importantly, options and strength in depth. Providing we keep our focus on each game and don't get ahead of ourselves, we may surprise more than a few. We have a clear change in direction and attitude from the owners and an organised and committed manager and squad. Most importantly, we have a level of positivity we haven't had for a long time due to the teams success and initiatives from the club to mend bridges and rebuild the community. I really hope the 'Allam out brigade" don't ruin what could be another fantastic day next week against West Brom. It's imperative we get behind the team, show unity and help the team to win! I suspect if and when the Allams arrive at the ground next week the idiots will start and do their best to spoil the progress made and the day in hand, I really hope they don't. We have the opportunity to make this four wins on the trot, lets focus on the positive and have a break from the negativity. COYH" screw you, waggy10, you brown-nosed *****.
Its nice being referred to as a Brigade though might get some red "Brigata Allam su" t shirts knocked up. Maybe a middle fingered salute in place of the yellow star?
Maybe, just maybe they might have potential new owners attending to see everybody singing from the same hymm sheet. I might be clutching at straws but you never know.
Went to a function last night where Allam Snr should have been present. Apparently he had to cancel due to entertaining foreign visitors. Make of it what you will.
There is a clear change in direction and attitude from the owners and there is an organised and committed manager and squad. So for saying that Waggy10 is a brown nosed **** ? FFS.
no, specifically and obviously this "waggy10" person is trying to direct the blame onto the supporters and trying to shift it from where it firmly and uniquely lies. for that he is what i said. and I'll believe there's a change of attititude from the owners when something actually changes, not when they promise a change for the millionth time and for the millionth time nothing changes. their word is worthless.
A clear change in direction and attitude? Not sure how far that extends tbh. Few positive soundbites, half term training session and a rah rah day v Derby, but loads to do, and many will doubt whether they can keep it up before they lose interest again or get distracted. For me it's action not words, don't understand why people still hang on their words and place such importance on what they say, how they say it , when they say it. We all know by now the old feller expresses himself badly and erratically so his words are often meaningless or just chat for the sake of it. The younger one though knows perfectly well how to communicate and has no such caveat. I've no idea what he wants to do with the football club. The longest journey starts with the smallest step.
No-one is sure how far it will extend too or for how long but it is a change of attitude which ever way you look at it, and it should be encouraged. The change of attitude is action, the efforts to offer Bowen and others a better contract is action. The longest journey does start with the smallest step and maybe some of the boycotters should make a small step of their own ? Tales two to tango. The club couldn't carry on as it was doing and something had to change. I'm hoping it has.
