Said this before and I know it goes against the grain a bit but I actually quite like him.

He wears his heart on his sleeve and is completely off his ****ing rocker and I respect that. Definitely prefer him to Martin tbh.

Done a decent job there and think he'll see it through. Fair play to him and it'll be interesting to see how they get on next season if they do.

Same, I think I like him either more just to see a few people on here lose their mind <laugh>

He is box office, in a "not at my club, thanks" way.

Yeah not saying I would want him back or anything. Though I maintain he was poorly treated here by fans and never given a proper chance. And I honestly believe he'd have done better than Martin this season.

He's clearly a very good coach imo just far too emotional, which is fine when you're doing well but doesn't work when things are going badly.

I don't feel he would have done better than Martin this year. He was like a rabbit in the headlights as a coach for us. Clueless and alienated everyone.

EDIT: Martin would have done a lot better than Martin this year if he had just relaxed the suicideball.

That's the point though Martin was never going to relax his insane possession whereas Jones would have been more pragmatic.

All hypothetical of course and we'll never know.

And he did leave us with a present that nobody wants and we can’t sell on.

Jones talked himself out of a fair chance because he didn’t know how to handle a job of this size and didn’t know how to stop running his mouth. And that’s before you get to the terrible football

Bloke’s an absolute bellend and a complete narcissist and I can only hope Leyton Orient do everyone a favour humble him at Wembley. Up the Os
