I dont think you're an idiot pal, but on this I think you're overthinking it all.
For me, I look at Ashleys business model at Frasers a model he has adopted over the past few years and find it very interesting he now operates at Newcastle in a similar fashion.
Through purchasing Game, Firetrap, Everlast he has doubled the revenue for Frasers compared to Sports Direct.
Ye don't need to be ITK, Steve Bruce tells us whats happening. Ashley is just spending more money because his company makes more money, flexing his muscles.
As I've said until I'm blue in the face, Ashley has a company richer than Evertons owener and King Power, on par with Spurs owners
There's no excuse that we can't compete financially, signing a few players Villa and the likes had their eyes on should be a standard and doesnt indicate Saudi interest.

There are a lot of good points in your post but your numbers are a bit out .... Mike Ashley's net worth is just under $US 2 billion ... 'Top" our CEO stands around $US 3.7 billion ... would have thought Moshri would be even more ... your point that Ashley's increased spending mirrors increased wealth still stands mind![]()
I wasn't talking of Ashley's personal net worth, but the revenue of his company Frasers Group, which is higher than King Power.
But I believe your big boy has his fingers in a few more pies and therefore has a larger personal net worth.
What I'm of course saying is Ashleys excuse for not spending doesn't and has never held.
Santiago arias to Newcastle 14 million

I don't watch the true Geordie
He's very skilful, quick and direct... but his end product is too often lacking. It's mostly his decision making when he gets into the danger zone .. tries to shoot when he should / could pass and will often go past his man with ease only to then over hit the cross or put it out for a goal kick.
Very frustrating because he has bags of skill and can score the odd screamer. He has slipped down the pecking order at our place and really does need to go somewhere where he will get game time. There is a player in there alright... but he really needs to step up.
You should. He’s a canny lad, like.
I don't like dildo lickers
I was adaptive throughout would be my reason for that.. Simply holding a position for or against would've been ignorant imo
See, in this jungle, holding or reserving a position is not permitted, because it presents zero wum potential for certain posters.
If you express an opinion on this board, understand that it will immediately be cast in stone and held against you for eternity, notwithstanding how loudly you may declare a changing of that opinion over time and with the gathering of fresh knowledge.
I cannot believe that you made such a schoolboy error.

Sounds like things a good coach would fix.

We seem to have lost patience... Claude Puel loved him... even dropped Vardy to the bench and started with Gray as the main striker ... wouldn't be totally surprised to see him do a bit of a Zaha somewhere ...
Good coach? Welcome to Newcastle.
