oh wow, 45m for chilwell. Think we've overpaid in this market but considering the quotes well 60+ or whatever ridiculous ones it was that's a deal for us especially with the england tax

He’s definitely more rated by those who don’t watch him each week. He has a good engine but I’ve never seen such a negative mindset in the final third, he certainly has potential but he needs to back himself to take on the final ball more. Massively inflated price because he is English and we don’t sell cheap. If we get recruitment right we can definitely improve on him for half the price. Don’t trust us to do that mind...

player mindset comes from the management/coaching.
Watch him shine under a more attacking/progressive coach and in a side that gives him more options than hitting the space for Vardy to run into/onto

Leicester come 5th in a 3 horse race and the fans claim to be happy.

They now have an important player leave, weakening themselves but also strengthening a rival from last season
and they pretend it's all part of of Brenda's master plan...

Carlo wants him, will be the third club he has had him at. Didn’t watch enough of him at Madrid or Bayern to say he will be a world beater. But if reported it’s on a free and he can replace an outgoing Sigurdsson.....yes please.

Yeah, depending on wages. Shocking how dire Siggy seems to have got within the last year or so. I really rated him highly, in the same class as Erikson. Hasn't aged well.

he never did well at Spurs, team needed to be built about him, shame as he isn’t a bad player. Just a player Koeman, Silva and Carlo never really wanted.

Maybe, not sure how much of it is his own mentality but we’ll see. Bare in mind we have Ricardo on the other side who brings everything to the attack that Chilwell doesn’t it would suggest it’s more about the individual than the manager but that’s my opinion. He’s certainly replaceable unlike some of the others.

Who plays in front of him on the LHS in comparison to the other bloke on the RHS. If you have someone not making runs, making space, passing options then you have to be negative And retain possession. I guess he could just keep banging crosses in, makes the stats look good and then you can call out for forward runs, midfield runners.

He's a fine player ... but many Leicester fans won't be too bothered ... Maddison signing a new contract and Vardy extending were universally welcomed ... Chillwell has always divided opinion ... and young Luke Thomas coming through had many more than happy to move Chillwell on ... we have some excellent young talent on the books...

Normally Barnes, they’ve never really clicked. Ricardo is just a far superior player tbf. I’m not saying Chilwell is bad and slating him, I’m just saying he’s over rated being English and more replaceable than Ricardo, Soyuncu, Ndidi, Maddison, Barnes and Vardy. He’s good, not great.

Barnes I think is very under rated whereas Chilwell over rated. For his first full season Barnes goals and assists were very good. I think he was 3rd or 4th for assists in the league. Ricardo has Perez in front so hardly a class act. Ricardo and Chilwell are not compatible in ability.

That’s not age, that’s just him.

He’s a luxury player who’s pretty decent with a dead ball, that’s all he ever was.
