Lots of media outlets claiming Chilwell is joining the Chavs for £50 million ... bit surprised that we would let him go for that, if true ...

I'm a fan but many Leicester fans are not. He does need to work on his final ball but gets into some great positions and has a tremendous engine. Defensively good but not great.

Whilst we have another great prospect coming through, Luke Thomas, he's just 17 (played the last few games), so I suspect we will bring in another left back for the shorter term.

you've been linked with quite a few in the last few weeks and you sure aint going to do a season with a raw 17 year old at LB .

James Justin can also play there and was one of the few positives post lockdown... but he's only 22 himself ... Christian Fuchs is also still at the club but his legs have gone.

£50m is about right, he’s not on AWB’s level defensively, and he’s set a relatively recent bench mark. Chilwell will be England’s LB when Shaw isn’t fit, which would be about 95% of the time.

Leicester don’t need to sell and Palace probably did.

Guess it comes down to why would you keep a player whose heart is set on another club? Keep and you risk a bad apple souring the barrel like.

He doesn’t seem the type to kick up a fuss. Maybe if you throw the ***** Mama Fratelli at them on top of the deal they’ll take it.

Local paper saying Chilwell could be £60 million with a further potential £10 million in add ons... closer to what I expected given he still has over 3 years on his current contract ...

Ah well... that's alright then. Don't forget to email LCFC your approval mate
