It is ridiculous, but it's true. He never replaced or planned for Kompany leaving, he hasn't replaced or planned for Aguero leaving and, unless Rodri suddenly improves ten fold, ditto Fernandinho. That's City's spine. At least they've got this almost mythical brilliance to replace David Silva, although Pep will probably chuck some money at it instead of using Foden.
I agree with you guys, but then the question is how much more money does he need to spend? Its like using a championship manager cheat and still maxing it out and crashing the game.
Nah soz. Pep, being the messiah shouldve forseen that **** instead of buying 60m wbs and not playing them.
The thing is, who's out there to buy in those key positions? A real tell is Real Madrid who still rely on Benzema at 32 playing up front. Aint bought a big name striker in years. Unheard of at RM. Their defence, midfield is pretty much the same personnel as well. It's a real tell atm of the state of the top clubs in Europe atm with the lack of quality or worldies out there. I'd say Italy probably has the most promising players likely to become top signings in the future for the big European clubs.
Anyway I'm just getting the thoroughbred out for tonight mate. Getting ready for us to brush aside Sevilla at a canter ya get me
Everyone making excuses for pep. Any other manager spends that and ends the season with the league Cup is getting sacked and rinsed by the media. But pep, pep needs a rebuild Hehehe I get ya
You got a hard on for Pep or sumnt? No mate, City need a rebuild. 'ckin hell you're slow today. Must be the sea air
Nah just bored mate on the balcony smoking a joint and a supping a cheeky becky enjoying the view here
the real problem isn't his talent but the fact his wage is now the benchmark for all the youngsters who break into the first team as a regular player .
Yeah I’m happy with it tbh. Replaces Vorm and should allow us to loan out two of our good young keepers, one of em I’ve got pretty high hopes for too. Stupid move for Hart though really, he could probably still be a first choice keeper somewhere, even if it meant going abroad or down to the Championship. What a decline though, from England number one and double Prem winner to 3rd choice keeper at Burnley and Spurs, madness lol.
Completely average keeper, whose best asset was his confidence of which Guardiola swiftly removed. His career plummeted faster than if he had a serious injury.
Point is? When you spend 700m in 4 years.... Lolz what am I talking about he's the best coach in the world guise
