Want to see a play-off push from Lee Bowyer's squad this season. Whatever Duchatelet thinks Charlton are not back in the Championship just to make up the numbers, and 21st place is not a legitimate target.
If we aren't going to compete there is no point being there.

I realise that we are dealing in the bargain basement nowadays, I get that. What I do not get is the excitement by fans in the purchases of players that have been playing in the third and fourth divisions, one even in the bloody fifth division.
Should we get off to a bad start to the season and continue to be in the bottom six, I imagine the very same people will be saying they are s*** and we should have bought experienced players from division two. They must be out there after all(the experienced players that is!)

The majority of fans trust Bowyers judgement on players, his record is pretty decent so far. Just signing someone is half the excitement at the moment
Granted, but the lack of experience in division 2 is a concern. We shall see what the future holds.
It's just sheer relief that it looks like we will be able to put out a team. Maybe even have a few substitutes.
Aneke and Lockyer are both excellent players. Just because they played in League 2 doesn't make them poor. Another signing is close.
