Scott Parker has challenged our young players to take one last, huge step in the inaugural Under-18 Premier League Cup and lift the trophy against fierce rivals Chelsea in Sunday’s final.

I guess Davies won't have any cover on the bench tomorrow...

Fabulous win by the youngsters. Down to 10 men in the first half and behind to a Chelsea goal in the second half. Then 2 stunning free kicks from Keanan Bennetts and we win 2-1. My tip for the top - Oliver Skipp was apparently heroic in replacing the sent off Christian Maghoma in central defence.

I see their U23s learned how to bottle games against Spurs at Stamford Bridge...

I think the young lads are really making a statement today!

Reo Griffiths with yet another hat trick. That's about 4 or 5 in the space of 3 or so months I believe. Immense form, looking like a very, very bright prospect. IF we can get top four sewn up before the end of the season, it'd be nice of Poch to reward him with some first team minutes.

Finished 9-0 and Griffiths got a fourth!

Four from Griffiths, two each from Richards and Markanday, and one of the Young Goons decided he wanted to be part of the scoreline.

Griffiths appears to have either scored or set up every single goal. Really making an impression at that level.

Nice of the club to put "against a slightly younger"
in there (to spare Goonus Rattlerus everywhere
their attempted bites) . <applause>
