Surely they would stay up regardless of spunking 27 millions on Benteke? I honestly don't feel he is worth that money, he goes missing and is injured far too much? As a statto nerd do you have some stats to back this theory up?

The stats say he scores 1 in 3 in his worst seasons, better than 1 in 2 in his best and he plays 29-42 games per season, so is no sick note.

Villa fans will tell you that between him and Delph, they kept Villa in the Prem for 2 season running.

because they're **** and they've just spent 30m on a striker in absolutely no form at all.

He won't last till October IMO. They've won two league games in 2016.
 
Benteke is worth 27 millions then as the consensus goes, cheers to Pierre, and OLM. Still shocking the amount of money being spent on these players regardless

They barely survived last season, due to their great start. As olm says, he's hardly a sick note and has a brilliant scoring record.

Where did I say he was always injured? My criticism was how slow and off the pace he looked at the euros. He looked similar in the charity shield and against Bournemouth.

Oh well, guess I'm 1-1 for player predictions after maloney flopped last season. [emoji14]
