I'm actually a bit surprised so many strikers are rejecting them, when they've shown they have a lot of potential.

Norwich City have made a bid worth in the region of £13m for Fulham striker Ross McCormack.

Reading are close to signing 28-year-old Hertha Berlin winger Roy Beerens for £1m.

Ironically doing to Fulham what Fulham did to Leeds when they went down. There's a certain point where you stop being a relegated club trying to bounce back and just become part of the masses, and if Fulham weren't that last season they certainly are now. Must be a sorry feeling as a supporter knowing you've missed the boat and essentially have to start over.

Which rubbishes somewhat all the anti Steve Bruce arguments. Every single one of those clubs relegated in the past 3 or 4 years wouldve expected to get promoted back up. They wouldve ripped your arm off to 'scrape' promotion via the play offs.

To some extent, but I don't think they retained the nucleus of their PL squads quite as well as we did - apart from Norwich and they also went straight back up. Struggling to think of many sides who went down - apart from one-season wonders - who kept most of their squad and didn't go straight back up? Fulham might be the best example, you could be right.

Former Manchester United winger Bebe has joined Eibar from Benfica on a four-year contract.

Chelsea have agreed a €35m fee with Leicester City for N'Golo Kanté. [according to Le Parisien]

We still brought in approx £25m of player sales after relegation. That's losing quite a lot of talent.

I think people forget the we got rid of 22 players when we were relegated, many of them youth players, but we still lost Chester, Brady, Jelavic, N'Doye, Quinn, McShane, Rosenior, Ince, Sago, Figueroa, Dudgeon and Harper who were all first team players to varying degrees.

Sago was no miss to be fair, thought he was a pudding.
