Personally I would take RVP, he knows where the goal is and even if he is passed his best, probably still better than we will probably finish up with.

I accept he maybe too expensive wages wise, but as a player he is only 32, scored 14 in 29 appearances for Fenerbahçe which as not a bad strike rate. He isn't a player that needs to run around a lot, he just does what he is good at scores goals.
I would, though he'd be in their treatment room more often than he's on the pitch.

Wasnt the point you made. You said West Ham scouts had decided he didn't have the legs for it and therefore we shouldn't be interested. I was just pointing out that clubs get this wrong.
I think there's less chance of that with an older player who has already played in the league, but yes I'll agree that it's not a perfect science.
