Especially with Fraser Forster there as number 1 - some players seem happy to be at a big (ish) club, rather than go do a team lower down but be playing every week
Could he be off to Everton?

Aston Villa midfielder Idrissa Gueye is set to undergo a medical with Everton ahead of a £7.2m move.
He always looked good whenever I saw him. Quick, strong, powerful and not afraid to put himself about. Granted I only saw him a few times.Interesting one, dont remember him being much good.

He was second only to Kante in a number of statistics last season. Interceptions, tackles, etc.
What's ridiculous about the Higuain move?
It is mental, he's about 29/30 so should be valued about the same as VardyYou don't think the price is ****ing mental?
Sounds like they are desperate like us alreadySwansea City are lining up a £3m bid for Stoke City striker Peter Crouch.

No. He's just equalled a 50 year goalscoring record in Serie A. I'm sure Juve would've loved to pay less, but that was his release clause and ADL said he wouldnt take a penny less. Which other scorers who have equalled a half century of goals scored in one season one of the continents major leagues could Juve sign?
The difference is Higuain has done it for years. Vardy has had 1 good season.
If a striker playing in the Premier League had scored 71 goals goals in 104 games, after being signed from Real Madrid where he'd scored 107 goals in 109 games, everyone would **** about him. The only reason they don't is because he doesnt.
Higuain scored 107 in 190 games at Madrid (every half decent striker has a similar record for them).
Higuain has made 30+ goals in a league season for the first time in his career and he's 28. Harry Kane has scored 30+ and he's 22 and ****.
The key point is, in Italy nobody has scored more goals in one season in 50 years.
If John Stones costs £50m, Higuain is worth £500m.
John Stones is useless !

Even you know that that's a ridiculous thing to say.
I 100% mean it. If Stones gets sold for that price, in a year's time he and City will be a laughing stock and Walsh will have found a better replacement for a fraction of the price.
But you do understand the reality of the English transfer market, ages, nationalities, club and every other difference in transfers?
John Stones will be an unbelievable centre half with correct coaching. That isn't to say he should be going for 50m but you're ignoring every single difference when you say "If John Stones is worth this then X must be worth X"
The last English Centre half with Stones' calibre and age went for 30m 14 years ago.
And he's the most overrated centre back I've ever seen.
