HULL STILL AT WORK
Tim Thornton reports from Hull that they are still working to bring in one more player, although a late attempt to sign a striker has failed.
"A dramatic end to the day at Hull. I told you they were looking to get two more deals through, well it's mixed news because one is still on and one is off," he said on Sky Sports News HQ.
"A deal for a Premier League striker has fallen through at the last minute, but the deal sheet is in for an international midfielder from overseas. I'm told it could take until midnight for that deal to be concluded. "

We might be able to get a marquee signing in January perhaps, the main thing is they've beefed up the squad till then. I like the thinking behind it really. No point spunking money on 2 last minute big money names and leaving us no room to manoveure later on

Don't think we needed another striker.

Mbokani Abel diomande and Keane should suffice and we don't want to disrupt that. A midfielder with attacking flair is far better at the moment.
