I hope he flies all the way out to Uruguay and Abel just says to him "nah you're alright" there's something very strange with him. Bit of a mentalist.
This is the problem Villa, Us and other recent takeovers are going to find. There is now so many rich owners in the PL that buying a title is going to become almost impossible unless you have the infrastructure because many owners are just going to shrug and say 'So? Do I look like I need your money?' When telephone numbers are bring chucked around.
When Chelsea and Man City did it they were one of the first so their cash brought easier returns. Since then the rules have been changed AND so many clubs are awash with cash that football has hit a point where cash alone is getting diminishing returns.

Daily star reckons we're close to signing Hendrick and Rodriguez, Guardian reporting Keane and Hendrick and Mirror claim we are battling Villa and Derby for Kodija

Don't you just love City! We do **** all for months then we try and fit in a years worth of transfers and a take over in three days.
Getting linked to almost everyone who's ever kicked a ball. Absolute madness!

(1) Who chose all of these particular targets? MP, a "mere" caretaker manager - that would seem like very poor business acumen by the current and soon-to-be new owners
(2) Who is/are the financial whizzkid(s) undertaking these negotiations? Ehab would have no rhyme or reason to get energized over any of this if he is now yesterday's man.

Well this window just got tasty!

There's not many on that list that you think 'Wow'.

Hendrick and Mason would be OK and Marshall - but up front the names mentioned are all really risky. Goals are the business end of the pitch, again we're shopping in poundland.

If we lose Hernandez our forward line up starts to look completely hopeless and 'Championship' standard. Hernandez could potentially be the 10 plus goals PL striker we need.
Bottom line is we won't have anyone in place to replace him. Perhaps the lad from Bristol City. But I'd rather keep Hernandez than sell and buy that lad with the money.
