Wade.... he's a great player... he had a strop part of the way through last season, but he's still been exceptional for this club. Sure, he lost Rooney on Saturday, but the ball should still have been cleared. Had that happened it wouldn't even be being discussed.
The players were so tired due to the stress of constant defence. After Elmo, I'm sure Livermore would have stopped Rooney's cross if it had been earlier but he turned his head and made a half hearted attempt. Harry could have got to the cross but he must have been terrified of turning it into the goal.
He wasn't always good quality, under Bruce anyway. For several months in a season in the top tier he couldn't cross at all. But Bruce kept him in the side anyway.
I'm really impressed with Henriksen, from what I've seen and how we play under Phelan I have hope, if we get these last few days right I think we will be in for a treat.
Henriksen looks technically sound and good with both feet from what ive seen, good surge of pace when bursting forward, looks a big lad too has something about him with the clubs that have been sniffing around him, could be a coup
At this level I don't see Elmo beating people one on one, he's ok defensively. I'm glad we aren't just having Huddlestone pinging it to him for the predictable crosses anymore.
