If we're signing Marshall, he's coming as No.1 and will be on decent wages (too high for an understudy)

Unless we're developing a Middlesboro attitude to signing goalkeepers, this must mean:

McGregor is looking ****ed

Harsh on the Jak but DM will go in number 1. That said, EJ had seemed to be an understanding and professional deputy previously and hopefully, he'll take it on the chin.

Hopefully taking it on the chin won't break his jaw again ;)

We have one match fit cb .. 13 fit players .. Harry just coming back .. desperately need him and other bodies in the building .. and still we have numpties suggesting we sell .. I despair at times

So it looks like we have lost out on Mason. We have any other bids that are close to being agreed on?

Phelan mentioned in his interviews we have a 'number' of bids accepted by clubs and players agents and it was all down to players being spoken to .. who and how many is anyone's guess .. Marshall appears to be another

I haven't seen where it says Mason has rejected our offer, just that he's had an offer from Sunderland. He's probably just waiting to see what Sunderland offer him and he'll weigh the options up.

Around 2pm today Sky were reporting terms couldn't be agreed and at that time suggested he was in talks with another unnamed Premier club .. since been confirmed as sunderland .. whether that's correct or not remains to be seen

There are lies, damn lies and OLM comments and statistics!

Maguire is a championship class defender and £7million is a great price for him. Yes, we are short on Centre Halves (understatement!) but we cannot afford to turn down an offer this good. Yes he always gives 100% - so did Wayne Brown - but it's not enough at this level.

At this stage we're struggling to get anyone through the door .. unless reinforcements arrive pdq they would be mad to accept any offer .. no matter how good it may seem
