We really are going to be going into the first match of a new PL season with one of Hudd or Livermore at CB on sat and 6 u21 players and a GK we've never seen play for us on the bench aren't we (unless Maloney passes a fitness test). I keep subconsciously telling myself, that no matter how inept Ehab is and how ridiculous pur situation is that it couldn't be that bad, but it really is isn't it.

Last season, Leicester was everyone's tip for relegation and for 'tinker man' to be the first managerial casualty. The thing that they showed last season was unity - albeit with few suspensions and injuries - lets hope this group with some additions might at least make a fist of it. Before a ball is kicked not one city supporter is going to have a go at the team for what might happen.

I admire your positivity and you know football "is a funny old game", but when you see the strengthening that virtually every other team has done, we are quite literally miles and miles behind, and now it appears we are after pretty much any old ****e.

If Ehab had wanted to sign anyone half decent, regardless of the situation with the manager etc. he would have done so by now. We are quite literally sitting ducks, and I have to be honest and say I have given up.

Its not positivity DJ... far from it and likely the reverse. Just saying that this group will give it their best shot and no one is going to crow about a team performance.

No it isn't and it won't happen. The players who are left will give their all on Saturday and although we'll probably lose the game it won't be a hammering IMO

Then the ****wit that is Ehab will say look we don't need to buy any more players we didn't get thrashed by the champions.

Edit. As for the remaining players giving it their all, I hope so but there were a number of players and a number of time last season when some of them looked like they didn't give a ****.
