Chester would be able to come in and play straight away. He'd be familiar with many of the current City squad. A signing like this would make 100% sense.

Just had a text to say Maguire on his way to Sunderland. Can't see it being true myself but thought I would pass it on.
No that can't be tight, he's injured and we're the only club who signs injured players
They're about to lose Kone to Everton (£18m?!) so they might be interested, but it's take a silly offer for us to part with him now.

I hardly think the Allams would buy anybody that would blow our socks off, though if they did succeed getting Bony in, that would be a close as they would get.
Im not a person in the know but i think the whole Bony transfer is definitely a non starter. I think somebody has just put 2 and 2 together and got 54. We couldnt afford his wages, We couldnt afford his transfer fee, We wouldnt pay his probable high loan fee and he wouldnt move to a club who are almost certain for relegation when there will be some top 10 teams who would be interested. Im sure Swansea would have him back and they are in need of forwards at the moment.
