Look, you thick ****, if I say that a transfer story was bollocks, it's only because Hull City have said so. I'm not involved in our transfer dealings and have zero knowledge of them unless the club confirm or deny them, usually via Burnsy (as they did with the previous Maguire story).

If you post one more pointless piece of ****e on this thread, it will be your last.

Dunno how true this is, but the chef in my local - big L'pool fan - told me that (a) he's on £75k at Anfield, but (b) Ehab offered a (City) contribution of £5.5k per week to his wages..

Least kids in Hull haven't had chance to buy a shirt with his name on yet now he's leaving. Every cloud.

Just melting in Atia Napa, thought I'd pop on and see what's happening and saw this; laughed out loud and ordered another Alabama Slammer! Man at the pool bar said we're ****ed, so we must be. <cheers>

The new manager has 29 days not 10. Until the end of the transfer deadline.
The first few games are tough, we aren't expected to get many points.
Our season will 'start' after the window shuts.
If we appoint Zola, we may bring in 5 players in the last week of August.
There is always a mad scramble of transfers, players will become available.
 
Oh dear - bye bye Diame. So by my reckoning we now need as a bare minimum...

1 x first choice keeper
1 x centre back
2 x attacking options (Aluko, Diame, Akpom all gone)

Even then it leaves us thin on cover (any more injuries and we'd be fooked)...we'd need some kids to fill the bench.

I'd rather we were competing from the start - we need every point we can get. Sure, by the end of the month we will have more of an idea what we have and the new manager will start to see the fruit of their labour. 1 month too late in my book.
