N'Doye got off to a flyer with us, but his goal stats with us suggests he's better than he was, he never looked anywhere near a 1 in 3 Premier League striker.

Despite triggering the clause, if that's even the case & not some made up journo ****, I doubt he'll want to go back to the Championship for another year.
He'll go BB.... or at worst it will make Prem clubs like Palace aware again.
So would I , although it might depend on just how bad things are behind the scenes here
Why would Diame go? He said last year with us he would leave if we didn't get promoted as he wants to play in the PL. plus he's 29 now and there are absolutely no guarantees that Newcastle will be promoted this coming season. There's some big clubs in the Championship that are being really well backed financially. Villa, Wolves, Newcastle, Wednesday, Brighton, Derby, Norwich. It's probably going to be as hard as ever to get out of that division and into the PL.
Newcastle may as well be given a free pass and encouraged to play the kids all season to audi sir development and hopefully help kick off the careers of some quality english lads.

If this is the case I wonder what the terms of the release clause were? I can only think £3m in the last year of his deal as if it had always been £3m it would've been met sooner.
Why would he go there except for money? He surely wants to be in the Prem, stand out in a ****e team and then get a big move. This move would waste a year of his career.

- New optimism - increased attendances
- No protests
- New players
- Players added to existing core of very good players
- Existing long serving manager (stability) and one the players liked and trusted (and could draw in new players)
One by one these have been destroyed over the summer - to finally getting to selling of the core of very good players (as well as injuries), it does feel like we no hope! And not a cat in Hulls chance of staying up (the last sentence is one for the lazy journalists).

Let him go & wish him well! We don't want anyone who's not upto a scrap! If he's willing to drop back into the champ again for more money He's not the man for us? Hope he thinks about all those Tuesday nights in winter? We could do with the team having a clear the air chat & jake rallying the troops! 
If this is a relegation release clause that wasn't revoked the second we got promoted then whoever drew the contract up is a massive bellend.
When will this ever stop , the only creative centre midfielder we have , and we're about to sell him for loose change in todays market
