I can cast iron guarantee I had a better insight in the past. I used to regularly post little bits of inside info without the fanfare on here and was often ridiculed when they were all absolute gospel, with people often choosing to believe other posters over me based on nothing other than standing on this board. Which was interesting to observe.

I know ****-all these days about anything going on behind the scene.

And which still happens.

Some people do like to post with an air of absolute authority, and of course that means that some believe them and the myth of ITK grows.

Even though they actually have no greater knowledge than you or me, ie **** All except what we read in the (often made up) press.

2014-2015 figures, nicked from HDM,

'An annual turnover of £84.09m, fractionally down on the previous campaign, included a pre-tax profit of £11.5m. City's wage bill for the season came to £55.6m for a total of 208 staff, up from £43.3m in the previous year.'

Granted the bill for this season will be a bit lower because of relegation clauses. But either way I think we can safely say £50m is not too far off the mark.

This was exactly my point, the wage bill was over £55m and with promotion will be back up to that level again, as we've only lost two players. My point about the wages, was simply that it's not just 25 players, it's a total for over 200 staff.

For the record, Huddlestone's our best paid player.

I'm happy with Robson-Kanu if he's 3rd choice behind Hernandez and another new striker. Sane looks like a good player with a bit of a temper

Is he any good, we continue to sign players i dont know much about. Obviously aware of Gale and Ritchie, but no real knowledge of Hayden?
He's got lots of potential. He'll show more application in midfield than most of your other 'stars'.

Out of Akpom and Hayden - if we had the chance to sign anyone this season I'd have signed Hayden. A good acquisition for a Championship club with aspirations of promotion. Game time will help him to be ready for the PL should you be promoted at the end of this season.
