Would love both Roofe and Hughes. Roofe in particular looks like he has the attitude to achieve success.
Agree Hughes looks good (on the 1 occasion I've seen him). Oxford supporters I know reckon Roofe's nowhere near as good as the hype. I'd like to see if he makes the leap from Div2 to 1 before Div2 to the prem.

I think if we're to progress and move on from being a yoyo club and establish ourselfs aka Stoke, we may need to be abit more ambitious and ruthless with this squad let's not forget the away losses to charlton etc this season. Big overhaul needed in my eyes

One who I wouldn't mind from the championship though is knockaert from Brighton

I'm hearing our potential new owners are mega rich and will put us in the top ten richest clubs in the country if they invest a lot of that wealth remains to be seen. We definatly need to buy or build a stadium

Alan Judge from Brentford would be one I'd like. I'd still like us to sign Daniel Bentley from Southend. Will Hughes will be difficult to get without spending silly money but Jeff Hendrick would be a good shout.

We have silly money though, need to spend big to stay up and progress. Obviously you need to sign the right players with the right attitude but I wouldn't mind us splashing out on players like Hughes.

Alan Judge broke his leg v Ipswich in April so won't be going anywhere for the time being. Sorry.

He had a serious injury this season and was out until April. I wouldn't spend too much money on him.

Good point I forgot about that, but my point still stands, we need to buy top players to do anything more than fight for survival.

Didn't know. Just know he scored 14 goals and is regarded as one of the best players in the Championship.

Outstanding player and second to Andre Gray in PoTY. Unfortunately for him he's missing the Euros with Ireland too but it's good for us as it was likely he would have left in the summer but will now stay put.

Can't just chuck money around, need to keep an eye on financial fairplay rules.

We did that last time with Hudds, Snodge, Livermore & Diame. Don't forget Abel H.
It takes a while for foreign players to settle in, players stepping up.
Unless we start bringing in players who are World Class & just can completely fit in anywhere, then we're still going to struggle with getting in the good players we need!

Do you mean same as Elmo?<laugh>

It's like the old rule restricting foreign players in days gone by: each club is only allowed one blatantly cheating diving twat. Elmo might be freeing up that space in the City squad, though...

Priorities for me this summer are:
New contacts for Elmo & Thudd
New deals for players going into their last year (Robertson, Livermore, possibly Hernandez etc...)
Couple of strikers
A left sided winger
A center mid

Then depending what we have left i'd look at a new number 1 and center back
Like to see us invest in promising youngsters again. Signing Robertson & Odubajo was the best bit of business we've done in years. Cost us £5m and selling them now we'd get £25m+

I'd just like one permanent and one loan striker and that's it. I'd love a transfers window where most users aren't saying "we need another striker", even when we have 4 already.

But we only have Hernandez and Diomande. We need 2 minimum

No, we just need 2. We only play with 1 most of the time anyway. One loan and one permanent would give us 4. Strikers are the most expensive part of a team, there's no point bringing in 6 of them if they aren't going to get a game. The money could be better used elsewhere.
